Broadly, the studies can be grouped in the following
categories:

Profiles on various subjects
based on published and un-published official surveys, studies, analysis etc
B.
Empirical research of
selected issues and concerns based on structured sampling with a view to
understand the changing scenario and their implications for social policy and
other areas.
C.
Benefit incidence analysis
of some of the selected schemes on women and children implemented by various
Ministries and Departments
D.
Evaluation studies of
schemes and programmes of the Department
E.
Action Research on the
various processes of empowering community, marginalized women, children in difficult
circumstances.
